This seminar will discuss how businesses may be able to look to insurance policies to help pay for the defense and settlement of various IP cases, including cases involving trademark and copyright infringement. We will address specialty IP policies that corporate counsel need to be aware of to maximize protection against IP related claims.

In addition, we will discuss basic insurance concepts to preserve the right to insurance, including providing timely notice, cooperating with the insurer, and avoiding other pitfalls that might affect

the right to insurance coverage.
