Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that Richmond-based partner, Rudene Mercer Haynes, was recently named to Virginia Business magazine’s inaugural Women in Leadership issue.

This first annual publication features profiles of some of the commonwealth's most impressive and accomplished female leaders across a variety of sectors, including Haynes, who also appears on the cover. The Virginia Business editorial team compiled the list of honorees based on a nomination process that yielded hundreds of inspiring women business leaders.

Based in Richmond, Haynes co-leads the firm’s servicer advance financing practice and serves as firm-wide hiring partner, where she is committed to expanding the pipeline of diverse candidates. She is also active in the community with her foundational involvement in “Facts & Faith Fridays”, a series of calls with members of the black faith community to provide information on COVID-19, transmission, vaccination and improving outcomes and which was cited by The White House as a model of reducing health disparities.
